Getting a Marriage License in Forsyth County

Getting Certified Copies
Certified marriage copies and certified divorce copies come from different offices. Certified divorce decree copies come from the Clerk's copy process because the divorce case is a Superior Court civil record.
The Clerk's electronic certified-copy route uses GSCCCA eCertification and delivers copies by email. Standard copies cost $0.50 per page; certified copies cost $2.50 for the first page plus $0.50 for each additional page; non-standard copies cost $1.00 per page. If a divorce record is sealed, restricted, or includes protected identifiers, access may require party status, attorney access, redaction, or a court order.
